Fantasy Football Trade Targets, Week 9 (2026): Buy Low, Sell High

By Fantasy Football Trade Analyzer StaffPublished Updated

Every week we start with the same question: whose trade value moved the most, and does the reason behind the move justify the new price? This edition covers market changes from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, 2026, before Sunday's Week 9 games and three days before the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4 p.m. ET.

The numbers are market values on our full-PPR, 12-team, one-QB redraft scale, recorded on Nov. 7. A rise or fall only tells you what the market did. We checked the news behind every player below, because a 20-point drop caused by a teammate's injury is a very different buy than a 20-point drop caused by a third ankle sprain.

Sell high: values that jumped this week

Selling high does not mean selling every player who had a big game. It means selling when the price assumes the hot streak will continue but the reason for it may not last. Two of this week's risers fit that description. Of the others, one is a short-term starter you should price as a rental, and three are real breakouts you should keep unless someone overpays.

  • D'Andre Swift, RB, BearsValue 54, up 10Swift scored three times on Monday night against Seattle (27 carries, 69 yards) and has 10 rushing touchdowns. Seven of them came in the four games Kyle Monangai missed with turf toe, and Monangai was listed as questionable for Week 9. That makes Swift the cleanest sell-high on the board: the touchdowns are pushing the price up while the efficiency (2.6 yards per carry in that game) is not, and his goal-line share could shrink as soon as Monangai is healthy.Test Swift for Justin Jefferson (55) →
  • Chuba Hubbard, RB, PanthersValue 51, up 8Hubbard's rise comes from volume rather than one event: 29 touches at Green Bay on Oct. 29 and 28 carries against Philadelphia before that. Jonathon Brooks is still on IR after core-muscle surgery, which explains the workload. ESPN has floated Hubbard as a deadline trade candidate if Carolina keeps losing. If you can turn his current price into a receiver with a secure role, consider it before Tuesday's deadline adds uncertainty.Test Hubbard for Drake London (50) →
  • Tee Higgins, WR, BengalsValue 54, up 11Higgins earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week after 10 catches, 155 yards and two touchdowns in the overtime win over Tennessee, and he ranks second in the NFL with 726 receiving yards. That is sustained production, not one lucky game. Only sell if a manager pays you as if he were a top-five receiver. At 54, the market already prices him like Justin Jefferson (55), so a straight swap is a lateral move, not a sale.
  • Jonah Coleman, RB, BroncosValue 21, up 10The rookie took over after RJ Harvey went to short-term IR with a knee injury on Oct. 31. He had 104 total yards and a touchdown against Kansas City and out-carried J.K. Dobbins 11 to 7. Harvey is eligible to return in Week 13, so in redraft Coleman is a four-week rental. Contenders who need a running back through November can pay for him. Teams that won't use him should sell before Harvey returns.
  • Hold: Brock Bowers and Matthew GoldenValues 68 and 40Bowers became the first tight end in NFL history with 70 or more yards in six straight games and scored twice against the Jets. Only trade him for a clear overpay. Golden has six or more catches in four straight games, and Jayden Reed is out for the season, so his targets look stable. His drops are the main risk, not his role.

Buy low: drops that look temporary

The best buy-low targets lost value for reasons that can reverse: a teammate's injury, a minor injury of their own, or a lost role for a player young enough to win it back. The price has already dropped, so you pay less while you wait for the situation to improve.

  • Zay Flowers, WR, RavensValue 40, down 21This week's biggest drop, and Flowers is not hurt. Lamar Jackson injured his throwing thumb on the first snap at Buffalo and is headed for surgery that his coach called potentially season-ending. Backup Tyler Huntley then hurt a toe. With an undrafted rookie at quarterback, Flowers caught zero of five targets at Buffalo and three passes for six yards against Jacksonville. Baltimore has since traded for Jacoby Brissett, who could start in Week 10. If you can wait a week or two, this is the price to buy. Just don't expect his ceiling from earlier in the season without Jackson.Test Flowers for Matthew Golden (40) →
  • George Pickens, WR, CowboysValue 27, down 9Pickens had two catches for 48 yards in Dallas's overtime loss to Arizona while playing through hamstring and shoulder problems. He was listed as questionable for Week 9. Dallas has reportedly refused to discuss trading him, so his role is safe. The buy window depends on his health: wait for Sunday's inactive list, then offer if he plays.
  • Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders (dynasty buy, redraft wait)Redraft 41, dynasty 48, down 13 in redraftJeanty had two carries at the Jets while Mike Washington Jr. had 25, and coach Kubiak said it was his decision. Reports say Las Vegas is willing to keep shifting carries if Jeanty does not respond, and he is averaging 3.1 yards per carry. In redraft, that is a real role problem, so wait for a game that shows his workload is back. In dynasty, a 22-year-old priced about like an early 2027 first-round pick (45) is a reasonable buy for patient managers.Test Jeanty for an early 2027 1st (dynasty) →

Avoid the dip: drops that reflect real problems

A lower price is not automatically a discount. These three players fell for reasons that could last the rest of the fantasy regular season.

  • Jeremiyah Love, RB, CardinalsRedraft 20, dynasty 54, down 11 in redraftLove suffered a right high-ankle sprain at Dallas, his third ankle injury this season, and is headed to IR. Reports estimate he will miss four to five weeks. In redraft, that could take him into the fantasy playoffs, so don't buy unless you have a deep bench and a safe playoff spot. Dynasty is different. His dynasty value (54) is still more than double his redraft value, so a rebuilding team can wait out the injury.
  • Derrick Henry, RB, RavensValue 49, down 14Henry lost the quarterback who opened up his running lanes, Baltimore has lost four straight games, and he is averaging 4.0 yards per carry at age 32. Analysts have also named him a possible deadline trade. Do not trade for him before Tuesday afternoon. A trade could help or hurt his role, and you will know which within hours.
  • A.J. Brown, WR, PatriotsValue 19, down 8Brown was traded to New England in June. He sprained an ankle in his Patriots debut, missed four games, then aggravated a knee injury and was ruled out for Week 9, his sixth missed game. Reports describe the knee as a possible long-term problem. His trade value is low, but so is his chance of helping in your lineup this season.

Before you send any offer this week

Wait for the NFL trade deadline on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET before trading for anyone mentioned as a trade candidate. Check Sunday's inactive lists for questionable players like Pickens and Monangai, then compare the full offer in the fantasy football trade analyzer instead of trusting one player's price. If the totals are close, decide by which roster spot you need to fill.

Player values change every day. The trade value chart shows the current numbers for every player listed here, and the trade report lists the biggest market moves with offers you can open in the calculator.

Fantasy Football Trade Targets, Week 9 (2026): Buy Low, Sell High FAQs

When is the 2026 NFL trade deadline?

Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, at 4 p.m. ET. Your fantasy league has its own deadline, usually later in November or early December, which you can find in your league settings.

Should I buy Zay Flowers after his drop?

If you can wait a week or two, yes. His fall comes from Baltimore's quarterback injuries, not his own health, and the Ravens have traded for Jacoby Brissett. Don't pay his early-season price, because Lamar Jackson may miss the rest of the season.

How often is this trade targets list updated?

Every week during the season, using the latest market values and news. The player pages and trade value chart linked here update daily, so check them for current prices.
