How to Calculate Fantasy Football Trades
To calculate a fantasy football trade, add every player or pick involved on both sides of the offer. Then choose the league format and scoring settings that match your league. A PPR redraft league, a half-PPR keeper league, and a Superflex dynasty league can value the same players very differently.
The calculator totals each side and gives you a fairness score. A close score suggests a balanced offer, while a large gap means one side is receiving more estimated value. That gap can guide a counteroffer. For example, the lower-value side may need a bench starter, a rookie pick, or a player swap to make the trade more balanced.
Package trades require extra context. Two players with a combined value of 80 are not always equal to one player worth 80, because the side receiving the star may gain a stronger starting lineup and an open roster spot. Use the calculator result, then decide whether the players you receive will actually start for your team.
If you are evaluating long-term value, use the dynasty trade calculator. If you only care about the current season, use the redraft trade analyzer. For browsing values before sending an offer, use the fantasy football trade value chart.
